Finding the right candidates

When you register a vacancy with us, we take time to understand the culture of your company, what the role entails and the skills and experience necessary to fill the role.
Once we understand the sort of person you need, we search and select candidates who match your requirements from our extensive database. We advertise in the appropriate media where appropriate , place the job on our website and major job boards. We also undertake pro-active headhunting.
Interview and selection process
We screen all suitable candidates C.V’s who register with Springbok Recruitment searching for candidates who meet any criteria and job description given by you.
Having then found suitable candidates and wherever possible we conduct face to face interviews. Where this is not practically possible we conduct interviews by telephone in the first instance. Our consultants employ a variety of interviewing techniques to gather a comprehensive overview of each individual, covering skill level and competency ,qualifications, work history, motivations, personality profile, career aspirations and desired working environment.
Candidates are provided with a full job description and any relevant information about the company. We advise candidates of any tests or screening process you may require them to undertake and pass prior to any appointment .
We then provide you with suitable candidate c.v’s and our interview notes that fully match your requirements/job descriptions.
We then await your response and instructions to set up interviews between you and the candidates and organise this accordingly.
Following each interview our consultants will ask for feedback to keep candidates informed and to help improve our service. We also pass on any feedback from candidates to you.
Negotiating the offer
Once you're happy to offer the position, we will negotiate the offer on your behalf, making sure that your requirements and those of the new employee are fully met. Any concerns that the candidate has regarding the position should have been pre-empted, but we will continue to advise them throughout the offer process.
This means that we will:
- keep you informed and act promptly at every stage of the recruitment process
- listen to your needs and only send you candidates who meet them
- operate with honesty and integrity
- only charge a fee for successful placements as per our terms and conditions
